4/10/2024 0 Comments Free printable meal planner app![]() I also use it to plan out things that are aging in my pantry. I need this tool when my life gets overwhelming, I can anchor back in regular nutritious meals. It’s like any other tool, I don’t use my wheelbarrow, or my snow boots daily, but I am sure glad I have them when I need them. Even when I don’t use it daily, I find it is still worth it. It is the only Black Friday sale I do, as the membership is 50% off then. Worth it even though I only use it on a desktop computer. ![]() I first heard about this app from a moms group I was in and it’s helped me stay organized and save time and I’ve recommended it so many I I personally plan 1-3 weeks ahead of time and I never scramble to figure out what’s for dinner last minute. If they are from a cookbook you have to type them in but honestly it’s worth it because you save so much time in the end. It does take a little time when you first start because you have to upload your recipes but it’s supper easy to do if they are online you just copy and paste and it generates them for you. You can also generate list for different stores. I have mine organized in order as they appear in the store. The items can be arranged by categories produce, canned items, etc. If your using the list on the app on your phone ( or you can print it) once you check the box for the item it disappears ( the have a button to bring it back if you make a mistake) but it makes it simpler to see what you still need as the items you checked off disappear. I go through the shopping list and anything I already have on hand I delete and then I take use the list at the store. I love that I can drag my recipes into each day of the week and it generates a shopping list. I’ve had this app for over 4 years and have recommended it to all my friends. I think if you did, you, too, would be sold on it. I truly love this app and would encourage you to try it. The shopping part helps to make sure that you don't forget important ingredients and is best used in combination with the planning part. I am not generally a big user of this part as a general rule but when I am doing a special meal or have guests for a weekend or week, I can have the food part planned out so I can spend more time with friends or family. If you are a planner, the menu planning option is a great way to structure your meals for a day, week, month or what ever your needs are. You can take pictures of your own creations to better see the result. As you prepare recipes, if you decide to alter the recipe you can make a change without having to start from square one or simply add a note at the end to show what you solid different. The end result is a collection of recipes of only what you want. I can download from the internet, take a picture of ones from my favorite cookbooks or create my own. I love that I can choose which recipes I want in this collection along with any ones that I make up. ![]() I have been using this app for at least four years now and by far it is to only thing I use to cook from anymore.
